American Lock & Key has been loyally serving the city of Richmond, Virginia, and many surrounding areas for over 30 years. Barry Wilson is the owner of American Lock & Key, a quality-assured professional and reliable Richmond Locksmith company. We are a licensed locksmith company with the Department Of Criminal Justice DCJS # 11-3052. We are centrally located at 2110 Spencer Rd in Richmond Virginia 23230.

Great repair work by David after the inside door knob of our front door came off in my hands after 34 years. A brass Baldwin handleset, David was able to find the parts and made the interior entry way nice and shiny. Opens smoother than ever after a proper cleaning and special spray lube. David even made me two Baldwin keys. Thanks David and American Lock & Key for letting me get out of my front door again!

Really great experience. I called this morning to explain my situation on how my car keys were lost and they made an appointment for me, same day. John came here right at 2pm, the scheduled time, and did a great job. Straight to business but very welcoming and understanding. Very happy that everything was done quickly out of the work van. Hopefully next time isn’t for a lost key again but I highly recommend! Paying $200 for a brand new, programmed key and remote was so much cheaper than going to the dealership.
